Try try try

Mussel Rock, Pacifica, 10:00am. Southwest @ 10mph

OK ground control, dropped it once in rotor (don’t step beyond crest of walker launch, the road is too far back). Launch veered left a little into the weeds, should have launched from farther right or kited to top. My original placement was good, continuing from roughly where I dropped the wing was incorrect. Started low, got too far infront of walker ridge (beyond the road), sank out, nice landing near the gravel. Meant to land 10 yards right.

I was panting from the slog up. Perhaps if I had slowed down and caught my breath I would have felt like kiting to top and launching there.

  • Didn’t announce launch.
  • Launched before catching breath.

0:03 Mussel Rock (Walker), reverse launch.
