A Little Bit of Acro

Mussel Rock, Pacifica, 4:45pm. WNW @ 12mph

Launched from Lemmings. I set up with wing on the edge of launch and me down the hill, it came up cleanly with good control. Good transition from reverse position to torpedo, but again, I launched in the direction I wanted to fly instead of directly into the wind. Minor swooping as my wing gained airspeed. A few passes over the Steps then North to the cliffs. Noticed GPS/Vario was off, turned it on. Watched Nova do some acro, lost height with ears over the water. DBF approach with nice gentle landing into the wind.

  • Did not launch directly into wind.
  • Did not preflight electronics.
  • Did not announce launch.

0:23 Mussel Rock (Walker), reverse launch.
