Mussel Rock, Pacifica, 4:30pm. W @ 12mph
Launched from Lemmings with wing set up on edge of launch and me downhill. I was on brakes instead of Cs, wing came up quickly and I launched still in the reverse position. I let the risers untwist and continued normal flight headed north to the cliffs. Shared the sky with several hang gliders practicing docking maneuvers. Landed gently in the wind near Lemmings, a little long and encountered hated star thistle. Properly killed wing and avoided tangles.
- Premature launch from using brakes instead of Cs.
- Chose a small landing field and barely made it.
